xAI rolls out Grok 4.3

VentureBeat reported that xAI released Grok 4.3 and a new web-based voice cloning suite on April 30, with availability extending to xAI API users and OpenRouter.

According to the report, Grok 4.3 uses reasoning by default rather than as an optional mode. VentureBeat also reports that the model has a 1 million-token context window, accepts text and image inputs, and returns text outputs.

The report says xAI priced Grok 4.3 at $1.25 per million input tokens and $2.50 per million output tokens for prompts up to 200,000 input tokens, with higher pricing above that threshold. VentureBeat also says xAI beta-tested the model in April for SuperGrok and X Premium+ subscribers before the broader rollout.

VentureBeat reports that xAI launched the voice cloning tool alongside the model update as a separate web-based suite. Based on the reporting available in the current cycle, the concrete same-day changes are the Grok 4.3 rollout, published pricing, broad API availability, and the addition of a new voice product.
