OpenClaw publishes 2026.5.3 beta 2 with gateway recovery, plugin update, memory-status, and channel-delivery fixes
OpenClaw published `2026.5.3-beta.2` on GitHub with a broad set of operational fixes across updates, plugins, memory tooling, channel delivery, and gateway diagnostics.
The release notes say beta-installed OpenClaw packages now stay on the beta plugin channel during updates, package publish checks now verify that plugin npm tarballs include compiled runtime entries, and source-only TypeScript plugin packages are rejected at install or discovery time when compiled runtime output is missing.
The same release also adds recovery handling for an installed-but-unloaded macOS LaunchAgent after package updates, separates local vector-store readiness from embedding-provider readiness in memory status output, keeps basic memory status on a cheaper read-only path unless deep checks are requested, routes stateful Google Meet CLI session commands through the gateway-owned runtime, and adds delivery and reconnect fixes for Telegram, Slack, and Discord.
