Anthropic releases ten finance agent templates and Microsoft 365 add-ins for Claude
Anthropic announced ten ready-to-run agent templates for financial-services work including pitchbook creation, KYC screening, earnings review, valuation review, general ledger reconciliation, month-end close, statement audit, and market research.
Anthropic said each template ships both as a plugin in Claude Cowork and Claude Code and as a cookbook for Claude Managed Agents. The company said the templates combine task-specific skills, governed data connectors, and subagents for specialized subtasks.
Anthropic also said Claude now works across Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook through Claude add-ins for Microsoft 365, with Outlook marked as coming soon. The same announcement said the finance updates pair with Claude Opus 4.7 and that partner ecosystem expansion includes new connectors and an MCP app for financial-data workflows.
